Biography

Victoire Perez grew up in France, where her love for art began at the age of seven. An older artist recognized her passion and talent early on, taking her under her wing and opening her private studio to Victoire after school. Those evenings spent painting, learning, and experimenting sparked what would become a lifelong dedication to art.

From a young age, Victoire explored a variety of styles and techniques, often working on large-scale pieces and constantly pushing herself creatively. Although art was always her greatest passion, she didn't begin sharing her work publicly until she was 24 years old. Her first Western-inspired collection sold out, giving her the confidence to turn her passion into a career.

In 2026, Victoire stepped away from the studio to pursue another passion: working as a fishing guide. But art never stayed far from her mind, and by June she found herself drawn back to painting, unable to ignore the creative pull that had been with her since childhood.

Her first year as a full-time artist was marked by exciting milestones. She was interviewed by Radio-Canada, completed a seven-foot mural, created commissioned artwork for Season 2 of the TV series Allegiance, and received recognition from British Vogue.

Now based on Vancouver Island, Victoire continues to draw inspiration from the landscapes and communities around her. Her upcoming collection celebrates the island's farming culture, capturing the connection between people, land, and tradition through her distinctive artistic perspective.

Victoire Perez is an oil painter based on Vancouver Island, Canada. Drawing inspiration from her passionate outdoor adventures, she creates vibrant, emotionally charged paintings characterized by unconventional color palettes and richly saturated imagery. Her work captures a spirit of wildness, freedom, and exploration, inviting collectors to bring moments that evoke a profound sense of Wild West into their home.

Growing up in the French Alps surrounded by horses, cattle, and expansive mountain landscapes, Perez developed a deep appreciation for the mammals that have lived alongside humans for centuries. This early connection to animals and rural life continues to shape her artistic practice, with her fascination with the enduring relationships between people, livestock, and the land.
