Victoire Perez is an independent professional artist based in Canada.
Since the age of seven, painting integrated her daily life thanks to an experienced artist who shared her knowledge and techniques with Victoire in her studio, where she spent every afternoon for eight years.
At eighteen, she left France for Canada to live in an environment that resembled her and has inspired her since she was a child. She decided to settle permanently in Canada to extend her art and knowledge within this country.
Her art reflects a part of her generation, street art, semi-realism, and a challenge between the presence of entirely opposite-colored lights.
The eyes, with a red and blue lens or filter, can see things in three dimensions making what they see more concrete and alive. The red and blue color of choice reflects humans' perception of different situations and subjects, bringing them to life. Victoire used this idea to get another dimension to her art.
Being a young woman always in search of independence, she wanted to represent the power of the woman as well as her sensuality. Her creative inspiration is based on her experiences and daily journey as a young independent artist.
Traveling a lot and meeting different cultures, landscapes, and people, her collections change and adapt to the various current subjects she lives. The message she wishes to convey through her art is the idea of the power that does not stop at a body, existing everywhere in each individual. Not stopping only at the woman, she considers the presence of all kinds in my paintings to cross many ideas and emotions.
